For YOUR Glory: Day Tripper

Here's the next song for this week! It's called Day Tripper, composed by The Beatles, guitar rendition by Tommy Emmanuel. It was really fun learning this song 'cause it seemed so easy at first. But trust me, just getting the rhythm and bass to go along is a killer. Tommy Emmanuel calls it the "boom chick" method, where your thumb moves independently from the rest of your fingers. It's NOT as easy as it looks.

Cool thing about this video is that it's a repost. Thanks to the YouTube community who spotted the initial mistakes that I had made earlier. Got it rectified. Tabs are below. Enjoy! =P

Haha I wish I could use guitar pro myself, but I'm a newbie at musical notations. I don't understand how the beats work, so I can't use guitar pro, although I've tried before

i really like this song i have learned everything from u , from the first time i saw u at youtube i came to ur page and i learned alot i just learned lady madonna and its so pretty i can show it to my friends and its just awesome , now i want to learn day tripper but i cant not even do the intro T.T u mayb have a tip that made it easier T.T plz (srry for my bad grammar , my main launguage is spansih ) hope u make a tutorial for it T.T

Hey there,
One tip is to play the first note (1st string & 2nd string 3rd fret) continuously in beat, and then to add in the bass notes slowly.
You can also practise the bass notes separately, and try combining to 2 subsequently.
The tabs would help greatly since it tells you when to press which string.
