It's been a year since I've stumbled onto your God of Wonders tutorial, and I just wanted to say that God has really used you and your brother to introduce the guitar into my life. God of Wonders is the first song I've ever learned to play and sing. And after learning it I learned many more worship songs and eventually I became my youth group's worship leader, and started teaching other youth the songs you taught me.

You're really making a difference by making these videos! Keep it up!

God Bless!Jam Jamnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223816080423532969.post-70689606731307851402008-10-05T15:05:00.000+08:002008-10-05T15:05:00.000+08:00Hey, I think maybe you haven't familiarized yourse...Hey, I think maybe you haven't familiarized yourself with the strumming pattern yet. Once you're able to play the song slowly, and without having to concentrate a lot on the thinking about the strumming pattern while playing the song, then I think progressing to the original speed shouldn't be a problem.

Just keep playing at a pace you're comfortable with, and practice playing to the point where you don't need to consciously think of the strumming patterns (ie. until it becomes natural). I have this problem with other fast songs.
