Special Appeal

Dear friends and readers,

We would like to thank all of you who have been supporting us since the blog started in late 2007. As you can see, there have been many changes to the design, layout, and content of the blog, and they can be attributed to your constructive comments and feedback.

It has been our great joy and pleasure in offering our services for your benefit, to teach and provide useful resources for learning to play the guitar for God’s glory. We trust and pray that your worship experience has been enriched, and that it really pleases our Lord when His children sing His praises.

There are a few requests that we would like to make regarding the blog:

  1. We have been experiencing a huge amount of videos, instructionals, and tabs requests, and are unable to keep up with them due to time constraints at work. As such, we will not be taking any more requests until further notice, and will continue to work on the long lists that we currently have.

  2. Please refer to the “Current Projects” and “Recently Added” sections in the left-hand column to keep abreast with what we’re up to, and what you can expect.

  3. For those who need chords to songs urgently, I will still be able to provide them over the chat box in the left-hand column, as it requires a significantly less amount of time.

  4. I am currently re-writing the pdfs for Lyrics And Chords, into a format that will be more friendly for beginners who require strumming patterns as well. Do check out the “Recently Added” section for such updates.

  5. We would like to add value to the help we can provide. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have over the chat box. Moreover, we would like you to share your learning experience with us! If you are able to put up videos of yourselves on YouTube (you can choose the “private” option unless you want to share it with the world), we can provide you some feedback on how else to improve.

Thank you once again for your continued support. It is our vision that this blog will be a worship resource centre that will not only teach others how to play the guitar, but more importantly, to bring glory to our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the object of our praise and worship. To God be all the glory, honour, and praise!

God bless,
Graham & Daniel Choo

Wonderful Saviour

A worship song originally written as a traditional hymn by John M. Harris, made into a contemporary tune by Andy Bromley. The lyrics speak about the wonders of finding our salvation in Christ and what that means in relation to our sin, our relationship with God, and our eternity spent with Him.

Romans 3:21-24 tells us that there is a righteousness from God that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. All of us have sinned, but have been justified freely by God's grace through Christ's sacrifice for us. What this means is that our sins have been atoned for, that we are now God's children because of Christ's righteousness, and that we shall reign with Him in eternity because of the salvation Christ has brought us. Indeed this is something that we should be praising God for, declaring that He is our wonderful Saviour.
