Special Appeal

Dear friends and readers,

We would like to thank all of you who have been supporting us since the blog started in late 2007. As you can see, there have been many changes to the design, layout, and content of the blog, and they can be attributed to your constructive comments and feedback.

It has been our great joy and pleasure in offering our services for your benefit, to teach and provide useful resources for learning to play the guitar for God’s glory. We trust and pray that your worship experience has been enriched, and that it really pleases our Lord when His children sing His praises.

There are a few requests that we would like to make regarding the blog:

  1. We have been experiencing a huge amount of videos, instructionals, and tabs requests, and are unable to keep up with them due to time constraints at work. As such, we will not be taking any more requests until further notice, and will continue to work on the long lists that we currently have.

  2. Please refer to the “Current Projects” and “Recently Added” sections in the left-hand column to keep abreast with what we’re up to, and what you can expect.

  3. For those who need chords to songs urgently, I will still be able to provide them over the chat box in the left-hand column, as it requires a significantly less amount of time.

  4. We would like to add value to the help we can provide. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have over the chat box. Moreover, we would like you to share your learning experience with us! If you are able to put up videos of yourselves on YouTube (you can choose the “private” option unless you want to share it with the world), we can provide you some feedback on how else to improve.
Thank you once again for your continued support. It is our vision that this blog will be a worship resource centre that will not only teach others how to play the guitar, but more importantly, to bring glory to our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the object of our praise and worship.

To God be all the glory, honour, and praise!

God bless,
Graham & Daniel Choo

What A Friend We Have In Jesus

A classic Christian hymn by Joseph Scriven. The lyrics speak of what a friend we have in Jesus, who knows and understands us intimately, who will not let us go through this life alone, and who will provide us help, peace and comfort in our times of need. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus issues an invitation to all who are tired and frought with troubles - to come to Him and find rest for their souls.

Jesus is indeed our friend because He has borne our sins on Himself in order that we might become friends with God. And in dying for us, He has opened up a new and living way to the Father that we may draw near to Him (Hebrews 10:19-22). So let us draw near to Him for He cares for us and walks with us through the ups and downs of life. He is our refuge and in Him, we find our solace. Thank You Jesus for being our Friend!
