Hosanna (Hillsong)

HosannaA worship song by Hillsong. "Hosanna in the highest" was the phrase used by the people as Jesus was approaching Jerusalem on a donkey, as they ushered in their king which was in accordance with the prophecy in Zechariah 9:9. At that time, they had thought that Jesus would come and save them from the Romans and establish a physical kingdom on earth. But Jesus' kingdom was in heaven, and he came to save their souls.

But when Christ comes again, His kingdom will be established on earth, and he will reign forever and ever, Revelations 11:15. Indeed that will be a time when all the earth will sing, "Hosanna in the highest" in worship and awe of Him.

hmm sorry for the C#m, how do you play both of the 4th fret? sorry i'm kind of a beginner...

Chords like C#m and G# are called barre chords. For C#m, in order to play the 5th and 1st strings both on the 4th fret, you need to bar the 4th fret with your index finger. If you watch the video closely, you'll see that my brother bars the 4th fret, so that he's pressing both the 5th and 1st strings at the same time. Hope the explanation helped :P

Hey great work on the tabs. The first chord in the chorus is not a G# minor chord though. It's actually an E major chord with a G# root (E/G#). Just letting you know.

Hey there, if the song is in the key of E (which it is), you can replace the C#m barre chord with the C#m open chord (as in One Desire):
