How Many Kings

A Christian song by Downhere. The lyrics are taken from the account in Matthew 2:1-12 where the Magi follow the star to discover baby Jesus in a manger. They bring various gifts for Him, the King of the Jews, and worship Him. This is the story of our Lord Jesus' birth, somewhat unexpected for the King of the world. Philippians 2:6-11 further describes who this Jesus is, and how He gave up His equality with God to dwell on earth as a man, in order to serve and sacrifice Himself for our sins. And it is because of this that God has exalted Him above all, the name that all will worship.

A lovely Christmas message for this season. May we all understand that Jesus' birth, life, death, and resurrection, has brought us peace and salvation. How many kings would love us sacrificially unto death - Only one Jesus would. Thank You for all You've done!

A Christian song by Chris Tomlin. Isaiah 28:16 speaks of a prophecy that God makes to His people of a precious cornerstone whom we can rely on - Jesus Christ, who brings judgement to the wicked, but also rest for those who rely on Him. And indeed Jesus is our firm foundation who has saved us from destruction, for God's glory. God Is Able

A Christian song by Hillsong.The lyrics speak of our God who is able to do, and has done great things for His own glory, and for us. Daniel's friends when thrown into the burning furnace declared to king Nebuchadnezzar that their God was able to deliver them (Daniel 3:17). In Romans 11:22-23, Paul spoke to the Gentiles of how God is able to redeem His own people who repent and believe in Christ, even though they were once cut off. In terms of giving generously, Paul reminds the Corinthian church that God is able to bless us abundantly in order for us to abound in good work (2 Corinthians 9:7-8). And Hebrews 7:23-25 speaks of how Jesus is able to save all who come to God through Him, for He lives forever and intercedes for us.

Indeed our God is able to do, and has done great things! And we lift our voices in praise and worship of Him because He deserves all the glory. Our God is able!

Alive In Us

A Christian song by Hillsong. In John 14:5-14, Jesus tells his disciples that He is the way, the truth and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. In essence, He and the Father are one, and knowing and seeing Him is akin to knowing and seeing the Father.
