Follow You

A Christian contemporary song by Leeland & Brandon Heath. The lyrics are missional in nature, and speak of how as Jesus Himself met the needs of all who came to Him by healing and forgiving them, we too are to meet the needs of others in our own practical ways. Matthew 25:34-40 tells of Jesus coming in His glory and judging us based on our actions to others, especially the poor and needy. For the righteous who've demonstrated His love will be saved. But for those who do not will come into eternal judgment.

It is my prayer that as the pre-chorus of the song goes, that our hearts will overflow with love and compassion for others for He has supplied all our needs, and gave us life while we were dead in our sins. How then can we not give this so great a salvation to others through the proclamation of the Gospel? Let us follow Jesus and become fishers of men (Matthew 4:19).
