A classic Christian song written by Henry Smith, but made popular by Don Moen. The simple lyrics speak of giving thanks to God for giving His Son Jesus for us, to die to redeem us from our sins. In 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, Paul writes that Christ's power is made perfect in our weakness. Through our weakness, His power rests on us when we experience His grace to endure, and then even when we are weak, we are strong. 2 Corinthians 8:9 also speaks of Christ's grace in emptying Himself for our sake, so that we who were once bankrupt have now become rich in Him.
Indeed we should give thanks with a grateful heart for Jesus and what He has done for us. We are weak, but He has made us strong through His grace by the Holy Spirit. We were once poor, but He has made us rich, giving those who believe in Him salvation and an eternal inheritance. Thank you Jesus!

There's one missing 'B' chord after the D chord at the 'Son'.
The G#m at 'strong' should be F#m instead of G#m.
Hey there,
Thanks so much for pointing those out! I must have missed them out accidentally.
Have updated the post already.
Thanks!
hello graham! your tabs say pluck 4,2,4,1,4,2,4 but the 4s supposed to be 3 as in your video right? sorry abit confused haha. thx!
Hey kelly, I'm not too sure which part you're referring to, but usually I simplify the tabs to make it more consistent with the other plucking patterns for the other chords :)
okay thank u! :) n thx for doing the instructionals :)
Hi love the song does it work on electric guitar
Hey Brad,
I guess it would. You could try plucking on the electric guitar too :)
