See Him Coming

See Him ComingA Christian song by Mark Peterson of Emu Music. The lyrics are taken from Revelation 1:5-8, where John greets the seven churches in Asia with his opening speech. In his greeting, John gives glory, honour and praise to Jesus for what He has done for us - freeing us from our sin by His blood, and making us a kingdom of priests to serve God. And John opens with a vision of Jesus coming again in the clouds in full view of everyone. Oh what glory!

Indeed we eagerly await our Lord Jesus' return when we shall see Him coming in the clouds of heaven. Then He will dwell among man and perfectly rule and judge a new heaven and earth. And there will be peace for all who live under His rule (Revelation 21:1-4). Oh what a day to behold! Glory and power to the One who loves us, freed us, and made us. Come Lord Jesus, come!
