A Christian song adapted by Hillsong. Part of the lyrics were taken from the hymn, "My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less" by Edward Mote. The title of the song can be taken from several bible references, and in Ephesians 2:19-22, Paul make it very clear that Jesus Christ is the chief Cornerstone, on whom all Christians and Christianity is built upon.
May our hope be built on nothing less than Jesus Christ, who is our righteousness, and on whom our faith is built upon. And just as the cornerstone in any bulding gives reference for where the other stones are to be placed, may we rely on Jesus to build our lives into a holy temple as His Spirit dwells in us.
