A Christmas carol written by Isaac Watts. The lyrics speak of the birth, saving work, and rule of Jesus Christ. He has come as God dwelling among men that we should be saved from our sins through His sacrifice on the cross. And in His resurrection He has conquered sin and death and reigns as Lord over all. Indeed joy to the world for the Lord has come!
