We would like to thank all of you who have been supporting us since the blog started in late 2007. As you can see, there have been many changes to the design, layout, and content of the blog, and they can be attributed to your constructive comments and feedback.
It has been our great joy and pleasure in offering our services for your benefit, to teach and provide useful resources for learning to play the guitar for God’s glory. We trust and pray that your worship experience has been enriched, and that it really pleases our Lord when His children sing His praises.
There are a few requests that we would like to make regarding the blog:
We have been experiencing a huge amount of videos, instructionals, and tabs requests, and are unable to keep up with them due to time constraints at work. As such, we will not be taking any more requests until further notice, and will continue to work on the long lists that we currently have.
Please refer to the “Current Projects” and “Recently Added” sections in the left-hand column to keep abreast with what we’re up to, and what you can expect.
For those who need chords to songs urgently, I will still be able to provide them over the chat box in the left-hand column, as it requires a significantly less amount of time.
We would like to add value to the help we can provide. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have over the chat box. Moreover, we would like you to share your learning experience with us! If you are able to put up videos of yourselves on YouTube (you can choose the “private” option unless you want to share it with the world), we can provide you some feedback on how else to improve.
Thank you once again for your continued support. It is our vision that this blog will be a worship resource centre that will not only teach others how to play the guitar, but more importantly, to bring glory to our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the object of our praise and worship.

The lyrics speak of the awsomeness of God and how He is the Creator of all things - this world that we live in and all that is in it - and how we can rest in the fact that He is the Lord of all, even when things don't seem to go the way we would like them to. In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus taught His disciples in the Sermon of the Mount on why they should not worry about their lives and daily necessities - afterall, are we not more valuable than His creation, the birds of the air or flowers of the field which the Lord looks after? How much more will He look after us when we seek first His Kingdom and righteousness.
Indeed we can declare that this is our Father's world. And because it is His world, we do not need to worry when challenges come our way. In fact, He has overcome our greatest challenge - sin and death - through the sacrifice of His beloved Son Jesus, who will come in glory to deliver us to life eternal. This is my Father's world, the battle is not done. Jesus who died shall be satisfied, and earth and heaven be one!

A Christian hymn by Frances Ridley Havergal. The lyrics speak of offering all of ourselves to God for His use and glory - our life, hands, voice, resources, will and love. In Romans 12:1, Paul writes to the Roman Christians to offer their bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is their true and proper worship. He writes this instruction in the context of God's mercy shown to them when He offered salvation not just to the Jews, but to the Gentiles as well.
Indeed salvation has been made available to us through what Jesus had done on the cross - a sacrifice once for all, for all who would believe in Him as Lord and Saviour. And how should we respond to such great a mercy? By offering all of our lives to Him -

A Christian song by David Baroni. The lyrics speak of all creation worshipping the Lord for He has redeemed us with His blood and He reigns forevermore. Relevation 7:9-17 depicts the scene of a multitude of those redeemed by the Lamb's blood, worshipping God together with the angels.
This is the God we serve - a God who has saved us and who deserves all our praises. And we read in the passage above that this will be the reality for those who love Him - we will worship Him forevermore, and He will forever satisfy all our needs, for He is all we need. That day will come suddenly and unexpectedly, spelling judgement and destruction for those who belong to the night or darkness. Indeed let us live as children who belong to the day, in light of His imminent return. A Christian song by Hillsong. The lyrics speak of how Jesus' work on the cross at Calvary has saved us from sin and death, and redeemed us back to God. In Romans 5:8-11, Paul reasons with the Christians in Rome that Christ died for them while they were still sinners, and has justified them by His blood, saved them from God's wrath, and reconciled them back to God.
Indeed Christ's work at Calvary has achieved all this for us. And it is no one but Jesus alone, the perfect and spotless sacrifice, who could have done this. It is because of His death that our sin and shame don't count anymore. It is because of His shed blood that our sins have been washed whiter than snow. Thank You Jesus for all that You've done at Calvary!
A Christian song by Hillsong. The lyrics are taken from the Apostles' Creed, which is a statement of Christian belief based on the theological understanding of the Gospel. In 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Paul reminds the church of Corinth of this saving Gospel - That Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rised on the third day, appearing to many.
In this new year, it would be prudent to remind ourselves of what and who we believe in. The Gospel is about how God has offered salvation to sinful man through His Son Jesus Christ, who died for our sins that we may be redeemed to Himself, if only we'd believe. It is about how we now have a righteousness that is not our own, which justifies us before God the Father. It is about how we have been given the Holy Spirit to live as Christians who glorify God in all that we do. Indeed, we believe in the name of Jesus!
