Draw Me Close

Draw Me CloseFirst heard this song performed by Sonicflood (Excellent Christian band, caught them in Singapore a few years back). This song's since been performed by many other worship bands and singers, but thanks to one of the comments, I found out the original composer's Kelly Carpenter, a worship leader from Vineyard.

Simple slow meditative melody that speaks of our desire to draw closer to Him. Tabs are below.

Hi,

First of all, thank you for the clips. I always watch your clip before I play for my worship session. I have a few questions.

a)May strumming pattern for the intro, G(1) C9(1) Dsus(2) D(2) C9(1)It seems different from the actual clip.

b)The strumming pattern of the verse "Help me know You are near" to "Interlude" is also different from the clip. Can you help me in knowing the strumming pattern from "near" to "Interlude"

Hey Brian,

a) In the video, Daniel strums it a little differently for the Dsus and D and I put it as D D DU to simplify. But if you watch the instructional, you can just play Dsus (without the D) and use the same D UDUD UDUD DU strumming pattern.

b) I've also simplified the strumming pattern for the Interlude according to the instuctional video. But for the song video itself, he plays a shorter break and to simplify, it would be G(D D DU), D(D D DU).
