Made Me Glad

Made Me GladA worship song taken from my favourite Hillsong album - Blessed. The lyrics are taken from 2 Samuel 22:2-3. A song of David, which he sang when the Lord delivered him from the hands of all his enemies, as well as Saul. Indeed he is worthy of all our praise.

Hey dude. I love your site, but I am trying to learn how to play your song and if your tabs are wrong it is very difficult to learn the song. If you could can you fix the errors? Thanks man.

Hey Aaron, there's nothing wrong with the tabs. Have looked through it. Most of my errors come from the songs with a lot of plucking (mostly the instrumental videos), 'cause that one deals with more individual notes than chords :)

how do u do a b minor? its so hard

Hey Aaron, the barre chords are one of the toughest for beginners to learn. However, it can be mastered if you stick to a few rules:
1. Press the index finger down hard on the fret, to ensure all notes can be heard
2. Arch the other fingers (middle to last) while pressing the notes, so that they don't "muff" any other strings
3. Remember to always press hard, so that the notes can be heard. Also, a useful tip would be to press nearer to the fret lines. It makes the note more audible.

Hope that helps! :)

i think it's not a Bm on the chorus part. i think it's a F#m.

Hey jhay-ar, we've listened to the mp3, and the chord is indeed a Bm.
But you can still play an F#m if you want to, 'cause it will still go with the song :)

Hey,
I am a 67 year old grandma and my grandson wants to learn guitar. I am a Christian and found your site!!! You are such a blessing- I praise my God for you.
I would like to ask you how old you are and how you learned all this.

I find I can worship God as I learn.

Again thanks and I will pass it on to my grandson.

Hey there, thanks and we're glad the blog has helped you. To God be the glory :)
We're 26 years old, and started playing the guitar about 16 years ago. Just thought we'd use our talents for God's Kingdom work, even via blogs and video websites.
