You Led Me To The Cross

You Led Me To The Cross (The Father's Song Album Version)A worship song by Matt Redman. Was reminded of the passage in 1 Corinthians 15:3-5, where Paul explained to the church of Corinth the key tenets of our faith. "For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and then he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve."

Indeed the cross besides being a symbol of pain, suffering, and shame, is also a symbol of the love Christ had for us. But more importantly, if Christ did not rise from the dead, then our faith is futile, and we are still in our sins, 1 Corinthians 15:17. The empty tomb and folded grave clothes where He lay is a testament to that. Thank God for Jesus' death and resurrection which atone for our sins and give us new life in Him. Thank you for the cross.
