Everlasting God

Everlasting GodA worship song by Brenton Brown. The gist of the lyrics comes from Isaiah 40:28-31 where the prophet Isaiah issues comfort to God's people who are currently held captive in Babylon. "Do you not know? Have you not heard? the LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary, and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. The will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Whenever we face struggles in life, do we blame God? Ultimately, He knows our situations and He cares - He is always in control, for His ways are higher than ours. And God will helps us through our struggles by providing strength to those who place their hope in Him. He is indeed our source of strength in whom we can depend on.

The tabs and the video don't seem to be the same.

Hey Mr. Burns, I didn't repeat the notes for the downstroke strumming pattern. So it only appears once in the tabs. You have to repeat it according to the strumming pattern :)

Hey thanks for your video, im a beginner guitarist but i have already learnt alot from you.. But im unsure about how to play the downstrokes part.. some of the strumming is accented and some are not, i cant seem to find a pattern

Graham Choo said...

Hey, the accents are on the first note of the chords, G...G..C9...G..C9...G..C9...G, G
The letters represent the accented notes, and the "."s represent the unaccented notes.
