My Redeemer Lives

My Redeemer LivesA worship song by Hillsong. While the fast tune really gets people up and jumping, let's not get carried away by emotions but take some time to focus on the lyrics of the song. Jesus is our redeemer because His blood has saved us from the penalty of sin. He has redeemed our souls through the perfect sacrifice of Himself, that no goat of sheep could accomplish. Moreover, because He was raised from the dead, and lives, our faith is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:17 says, "And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins."Thank you Jesus for being raised. Indeed we can shout, "My redeemer lives!"

Excellent! Thank you so much! The strumming pattern was blowing my mind until I saw your video.

I have to practice this for the first time with my Praise & Worship band in the morning (Saturday) then play it Sunday.

God bless...

- Steve
