Adonai

AdonaiA worship song by Hillsong. In Psalm 117:1-3, the psalmist says, "Praise the LORD, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD."

Adonai is a Hebrew name for Lord. Indeed because of His great love and faithfulness toward us, we are to praise and worship Adonai. The psalmist in the Old Testament having yet to experience Christ, knew that Adonai is to be praised. How much more praises then, should we give unto Adonai, who has sent His son Jesus down for us. Oh I love you always. Ever I will sing, only You will I adore. Glorify my Lord, only You will I serve.

no offense or anything, but why so much hillsong?

Hahah, well we are influenced quite heavily by Hillsong's worship songs in Singapore. They've got really good tunes and lyrics too :)

have you heard songs of lakewood?

Hey mj, I haven't heard of any of their songs before. But I just looked them up over YouTube, and they're good! They play the Gospel genre though, which is quite hard to play and sing on the acoustic
