Son Of God

A Christian contemporary song by Starfield. Jesus is the Son of God, and there are countless parties in the Scriptures that attest to His divine status:

God declares Jesus at His baptism, as His Son with whom He is well pleased (Matthew 3:17)
Jesus himself claims to be the Son of God wh en charged by the Sanhedrin (Matthew 26:63-64)
The apostles attest to Jesus being the Son of God (John 20:31)
The centurion and others who were present at the final moments of His death (Matthew 27:54)
The demons acknowledge Him as the Son of God (Mark 5:7)

So let us take heart in the words of John in 1 John 4:15 - that God lives in us and we in Him, if we acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus we're overcome with Your great love for us!
