The Saving One

The Saving OneA Christian contemporary song by Starfield. In Mark 8:27-29, we see an account of Jesus after having done many miracles, and while travelling with His disciples, asking them the question, "Who do people say I am?" But more importantly, who do the disciples say Jesus is? And Peter replies, "You are the Christ."

It is interesting to note that while the disciples had spent most of their time with Jesus, and believed that He was the Christ proclaimed by the prophets, they did not understand what He had come to do (Mark 8:33). He had come to reconcile man to God and present us holy before Him (Colossians 1:19-22), to be the substitute for the judgement we rightfully deserved for our sins (Isaiah 53:5). Today is the day of salvation. Call upon the name of Jesus and be saved!

Hi lisa, thanks for pointing that out! I've made the changes. Looks like Daniel sang it wrongly in the video :)

I think you guys should get a lot of "thanks" comments. However, I also would like to say THANKS for the great work you´re doing! Thanks to this website (and the videos you put on youtube, the tabs) I can learn how to play well great christian songs wich I wouldn´t find easily - or really not find - in Brazil. May God bless you even more, and use you to reach new lives to Christ!
