Power Of Your Love

A very familiar worship song by Hillsong that's been around for quite a while already. It speaks of how the knowledge and power of God's sacrificial and unconditional love should in effect, bring a mighty change in our lives. In Romans 12:1-2, Paul says, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

God's love for us should bring about a change in our lives. The power of His love manifested through Jesus' death on the cross which canceled our sin, and the sending of the promised helper - the Holy Spirit - to guide us into holy living, has given us every opportunity to be changed by the power of His love. Thank you God. Help us to rely on Your Spirit to ever renew our minds and live changed lives, apart from our old self, for Your glory.

Can you please put text to describe the exact strumming pattern you used to play the song?

Thanks. Bless.

Hey, I'm currently working on all the Christian songs on the list. You can refer to the "Recently Added" section at the left-hand column under "Lyrics And Chords: ___" to see which one's have the new format including strumming patterns.

hi there - 1st of all thank you so much for the tabs and instructions for the songs - they have been a great help - but there is another thing - i would like to know how u recorded ur guitar and singing - its beautiful

Hey broken, for our older videos, we only used our Panasonic digital camera to record them. We then converted the videos into a format that takes up less space (usually .avi).
However, if you notice our newer videos, the sound quality is much better. That's because we've added a separate audio recorder (Zoom H4n Handy Recorder) to focus on the sound.

Hi Graham, thanks for providing this tab! I'm a beginnner guitar player and the strumming guide you provided really helped so much! I will be playing this song for CG tonight and I hope Jesus will use me as His instrument to touch lives. (:

Hey Ebin, that's the plan for our new website when it's up! In the meantime, the instructional videos and tabs can help :)
