Till I See You

Til I See YouA worship song by Hillsong. In Mark 14:35-36, it reads about Jesus, "Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him. 'Abba, Father,' he said, 'everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.'

Jesus knew the gravity of His situation - having to die for the sins of man. He struggled with it greatly, but still in obedience, submitted to the will of the Father. Have we ever wondered what would have happened if Jesus did not submit to the Father's will, and instead chose His own life over the cross? It was His great love for us that enabled Him to submit. It was love for us that kept Him on the cross. Indeed, the greatest love that anyone could ever know, was that the thought of us kept Him focused on what had to be done in order to save our souls. And thus, we will respond by living to love You and bring You praise, till we see You again. Amen.
