Yesterday (Instrumental)

A beautiful song by The Beatles. I played the instrumental according to Per-Olov Kindgren's rendition over YouTube. I like how he doesn't try to add in too much techniques and complexity into the piece - Simple, but still lovely sounding.

I've tabbed out the song for anyone interested in learning it. All the best! :)

Hey atai, I think Daniel might put up a "How To..." post on that on his blog sometime later. But for now, just a brief explanation on hammer ons and pull offs.

Hammer on - Usually with the middle finger. Hit a note (e.g. index on 1st fret 1st string) then use your middle finger to "hammer on" the 2nd fret 1st string while the note is still ringing.

Pull off - Usually done with the middle finger. Hit a note with index pressing a fret and the middle pressing another fret on the same string as well (e.g. index on 1st fret 1st string, middle on 2nd fret 1st string). While the note is still ringing, "pull off" your middle finger to produce another note (the note your index is pressing).
