Let Us Exalt His Name Together

A worship song by Stuart Dauermann. The lyrics are taken from Psalm 34, a psalm of David in which he pretended to be insane before Abimelek in order to save his own life. But although the righteous man may have troubles, the Lord delivers him from them all (Psalm 34:19). He will rescue his servants, and no one who takes refuge in Him will be condemned (Psalm 34:22).

This is a song of encouragement to those who may be in a point in their lives that they feel afflicted with problems - seek and exalt the Lord through it all. For the Lord answers our cries for His help, and He delivers us from all fears (Psalm 34:4). His angels protect those who fear His name (Psalm 34:7), and He will hear the cries of His righteous people (Psalm 34:17), just as He heard David's cries and delivered him. Let us exalt His name together forever, for He is our Saviour and God.
