Wonderful Saviour

Wonderful SaviourA worship song originally written as a traditional hymn by John M. Harris, made into a contemporary tune by Andy Bromley. The lyrics speak about the wonders of finding our salvation in Christ and what that means in relation to our sin, our relationship with God, and our eternity spent with Him.

Romans 3:21-24 tells us that there is a righteousness from God that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. All of us have sinned, but have been justified freely by God's grace through Christ's sacrifice for us. What this means is that our sins have been atoned for, that we are now God's children because of Christ's righteousness, and that we shall reign with Him in eternity because of the salvation Christ has brought us. Indeed this is something that we should be praising God for, declaring that He is our wonderful Saviour.
